Peat wool is great as sleeping surfaces in different cattle farming and animal shelters. Peat wool is usually mainly used with horses. Finer peat can also be used with other animals. Peat wool improves the well-being and heath of the animals, as it stores warmth and absorbs moisture. It also absorbs efficiently ammonia and refreshens the air in barns. Used peat wool is easy to remove and it is compostable.
