Properties of Biohansa black oats

Laboratory analysis PDF

Black oats have more fat than regular oats and, when hulled, also have a lot of fiber. The fat in oats is of good quality, and there are no particular differences in digestibility between oat varieties. Black oats have renewed the popularity of oats as a feed alternative.

  • Higher in fat
  • Rich in fiber
  • Pay attention to the ratio of calcium to phosphorus

Use

Horses 500 kg, approximately 1-3 kg per day, max. 4 kg, ponies 0.5-2 kg per day. The exact dosage depends on the horse's weight, activity and the nutritional content of the basic feed. When feeding oats, consider the horse's energy needs and the calcium and phosphorus ratio. The package should be used within 12 months of opening. Store in a dry and cool place.

Contents

Whole black oats.
