Properties of Biohansa biochar

Biochar is a general-purpose product that is also approved for organic production. It is suitable for use as a growing medium, soil improvement, or as a compost and dry toilet additive, for example.

When used as a growing medium or soil conditioner, we recommend fertilizing biochar before use. Thanks to the porous structure of biochar, the carbon absorbs nutrients and water before releasing them to the plant.

Due to its natural nature, it is also used as a nutritional supplement for animals and as an additive to floor litter in animal shelters to bind gases and odors. The raw material used is hardwood and it is odorless.
