Peat bedding for animal housing

Peat bedding forms a soft, even layer in stalls, boxes and animal housing. It binds liquid, odour and ammonia effectively. The virtually dust-free material helps keep the bed dry and the stable air more pleasant.

Use and maintenance

1. Spread an even layer of sufficient depth on a clean floor.
2. Remove manure and the wettest areas every day.
3. Add clean peat as required and level the surface.
4. Maintain suitable moisture; very dry fine peat can generate dust.
