Natural and comfortable animal bedding

Biohansa flax bedding is made from flax and is suitable for horses, small animals and birds. Its light fibrous structure forms a soft, insulating surface. Flax bedding is particularly useful when low dust, good moisture management and easy composting are required.

Use

Spread an even 20–50 mm layer on a clean, dry floor. Remove manure and visibly wet areas daily. Add clean bedding as needed to keep the surface dry and resilient.

The need for a complete change depends on the animal, ventilation, floor and care routine.

Storage and care

Store bales in a dry place protected from rain. Remove wet or spoiled bedding. Used flax bedding may be composted in accordance with local manure and environmental regulations.
