Biohansa wood pellets are an affordable and easy way to heat all types of properties. The energy-dense pellets are ideal for heating, but also for use as bedding in animal shelters. The product is biologically safe, with a sulfur content of less than 0.05%. Density 650 Kg/m³.

• Pellets are 5–20 mm long, 6 mm or 8 mm in diameter
• Quality standards of 6 mm or 8 mm Enplus1 premium pellet
• Energy content 4.8 kWh/kg
• Ash content <0.5%

Use as bedding

The amount of pellets needed to set up a pen depends on the size of the pen. For example, to fill a 10m² pen, you will need approximately 9 x 15 kg bags (135 kg) of bedding. This is enough to cover the pen floor with a 3-5 cm thick layer of pellets.

During daily cleaning, only manure and wet bedding are removed from the pen. There is no need to add bedding every day. In the future, only one bag (15 kg) is added every few days. Approximately 1400 kg of product is used per year in a 10 m² pen.

Biohansa wood pellets are available in the following packages:

• 65 x 15 kg bags on a pallet, total weight 975 kg
• 1000kg Bigbag sack on pallet
• 24 pallets in a semi-trailer
