Soft peat and wood-shaving bedding blend

This bedding combines the liquid- and ammonia-binding performance of peat with the soft, airy structure of wood shavings. The shavings reduce compaction and make the bedding layer comfortable for the animal. It is suitable for horses and other animals in stalls and animal housing.

Use and maintenance

1. Spread an even layer of sufficient depth on a clean floor.
2. Remove manure and the wettest areas every day.
3. Add blend as required and level the surface, avoiding bare areas.
4. Monitor moisture and stable air, and renew the bedding layer according to the maintenance system.

• Composition: approximately 65% peat (0–10 mm), 25% wood shavings and 10% peat fibre
• pH: 3.5–4.5
• Moisture: 35–45%
• Storage: keep dry and protected from precipitation
